The Best Fly Fishing for Trophy Trout on Private Water

We have a private lake located roughly 45 minutes from the shop; the beautiful 240 acre lake comes coupled with a magnificent view of the mountains. The lake itself contains rainbow, brown, cutbow, kamloop rainbow, johnson steelhead, eagle lake rainbow, triploid rainbow, snake river cutthroat, and tasmanian rainbow.The fish will bite at different times of the year typically, however when one strain slows down another will take its place.

There are many trout in this lake exceeding 10 pounds, with the average trout being at least 20 inches.Great odds for any fly fisherman searching for that trophy trout!

The lodge, set close to the water, gives an excellent view of the lake. When you walk in you'll see the main room with several large, comfy couches and chairs situated around a massive wooden coffee table and moss stone fireplace - perfect for coming back to in the evening to relax and tell stories. The spacious deck with a barbecue grill and large, fully equip kitchen allows for a great dinner after a satisfying day on the water. Combined, the L-shaped bar and dining area will seat 15. To the sides of the dining area are a fly tying station set by a sunny window and a reading and game area tucked into a cozy corner. The lodge will sleep 6 people comfortably with two bathrooms, each with it's own shower.
